Education is not just at school. Education is at every point of life. As long as we live, we should not hold back from learning until our last breath. For this purpose, from now on, together with our education foundation, we will act together and establish workshops for the development of not only the schools of Besni, but also its agriculture, industry, livestock, and tourism tradesmen, and we will work on this not only in the three days of the national holiday but throughout the year. As you know, we have never given up on our Besni district because our father was a lover of Besni, and we will never give up; no one can make us give up our love for Besni.

ERDEMOĞLU: '1000 APARTMENT EARTHQUAKE HOUSES WILL BE COMPLETED QUICKLY IF APPROVED'

What our people are most curious about is the 1000 houses that we committed to build upon the Besni earthquake. Our project has been approved by TOKİ and under evaluation by our governorship and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization for three months. With the approval, we will quickly start the construction of 1000 houses. I especially want all Besni people to know this. Secondly, we are obliged to deal with all the problems of Besni as much as we can, which we have assigned as a duty to ourselves. The person who provides the greatest service is my dear brother. Whatever problems our district of Besni has, we try to overcome them as much as we can.

İBRAHİM ERDEMOĞLU: WE WILL BUILD HOUSING FOR THE GENDARMERIE, POLICE, AND TEACHERS

We will build a 28-house residence for our friends who work in the gendarmerie in Besni, and we are waiting for its contract to be drawn up. Plus, we will build 28 houses for our Police Department and the construction of the two-year college we planned to build at our university has slowed down a little due to the earthquake. It will definitely transition to education in the next year, and we are building 28-flat housing there for our teachers at the universities and colleges.

WE MUST BE QUICK FOR A 100-PERSON TEACHER'S HOUSE

In addition, we will build a teacher's house for our teachers in Besni, where 100 of our teachers can comfortably stay. The finishing touches of its land are nearly finished. We ask our District Governor and Mayor to accelerate it, because we want to quickly create an environment that will attract our teachers to come to Besni and help Besni develop and overcome this earthquake disaster.

CORRESPONDENCE CONTINUES FOR THE PREVIOUSLY PROMISED NURSING HOME

And as we promised in our previous conversation, we will build a nursing home in Besni, where all our elderly people will be sheltered and all our fellow townsfolk in need of care will be cared for. Currently, under the leadership of our district governor, the correspondence with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies continues fast. If we receive approval, we will build a nursing home there quickly.

'BESNI NEEDS UNITY AND SOLIDARITY'

I will not avoid mentioning the shortcomings I see. Our most important shortcoming in Besni is the lack of unity and solidarity. Everyone resorts to their own side and everyone is trying to carry water to their own field. This is the biggest obstacle to the development of Besni. Everyone is trying to make others similar to themselves. This is quite wrong. Our superordinate identity should be Besni; we should all think about how we can be more useful to Besni together. I will say something very simple. If there are eight and a half billion people living on earth, the eye structure of eight and a half billion people is different, ear structure is different, voice tone is different, skin odor is different, blood type is different. They are never, in no case alike.

Billions of people who lived in the past are also different. Those who will live in the future will also be different. It is unfortunately wrong to reduce people to a single type. That is why we have to accept our people as they are, we have to develop our city and district by working together with respect and love, hand in hand. For this reason, we have always done our part, and we will continue to do so in the future. All we want is for the district governorship, municipality, non-governmental organizations, and political parties in Besni to come together as one heart and one body. Our political differences in terms of personal interests are our own privacy at the point of helping Besni. Our political beliefs and differences are our privacy and sacred. That's why my only request is that we expect to strengthen unity in Besni.

Secondly, we have another request from our Besni people. Great Atatürk said: "Societies that think of living in prosperity without getting tired of working and producing are doomed to lose their honor first and then their independence and future."

If our population is eighty thousand all together for the development of Besni, our village and city and all eighty-thousand population must work so that Besni can develop, that Besni will be at peace, that its welfare level will increase, and that it can become an exemplary district in our region.

That's why no one should think that way anymore. There is no logic of thinking something to fall into our lap. No country in the world that fails to work and produce has been developed. If we want a developed Besni, we, as Besni people, have to work harder, produce more, and bring it to world standards by using technology.

That's why I want you to know this: as Besni people, we criticize each other a lot. We look for something in everything. It is in our genes. But I want everyone to leave this structure and ask themselves how we can be of some help to Besni. I will finish my speech with a quote from Besni.
