A ‘Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate’ has been granted to Merinos by the Turkish Standards Institute.
The Turkish Standards Institute has conferred the Safe Production Certificate to Merinos that has taken all kinds of precautions within the scope of fight against Covid 19 from the very first day. Ali Erdemoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Merinos that is the first firm entitled to receive the certificate in the carpet sector, said that they had progressed significantly in the fight against Covid 19 from the first day and that they had not avoided any expense for safeguarding the health of their employees, by means of taking all kinds of measures.
The Turkish Standards Institute has conferred the Safe Production Certificate to Merinos that has fulfilled the conditions of the certificate program for hygiene, infection prevention, and control in the carpet sector. It was expressed that the first firm receiving the certificate granted upon being signed by Mesut Duru, TSE System Certification Group President, in the carpet sector is Merinos.
Stating that they carried out highly painstaking works in the process of receiving the certificate, Ali Erdemoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Merinos, said they had received the TSE Safe Production Certificate thanks to those meticulous endeavors. “As Merinos, we have taken our precautions for any kind of issue, particularly hygiene, from the very first day of the outbreak of the pandemic. We maximized such measures in the course of time. What matters for us is the health and safety of our employees. The extent of significance of the precautions we have taken has become clear and the Turkish Standards Institute has conferred this certificate to us first. Our firm receiving the Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate will continue its precautions determinedly for the health and safety of our employees. The health of our employees means the health of their families, the health of our city, and the health of our country. Owing to such precautions taken, we will get rid of that malady in near future and turn back to normal life keeping on taking those precautions. Our employees and we will never stop taking precautions. We continue to produce and provide contribution to the economy of the country,” Ali Erdemoğlu concluded.
