Philanthropist Ali Erdemoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of the Erdemoğlu Holding and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Merinos Halı A.Ş., has donated totally 40,000 masks, being 10 thousand to Besni District Governorate, 10 thousand to Besni Municipality, and two thousand to various institutions and organizations, for the Coronavirus pandemic.
Continuing its donations to needy people regularly for nearly 32 years, Merinos did not forget the people in need during this difficult period we are experiencing due to the pandemic and donated four thousand boxes of food to Adıyaman following its 15 thousand 500 boxes of food aid that it provided recently.
It provided two thousand food boxes to Adıyaman Governorate, one thousand to Adıyaman Municipality, and one thousand to Merinos Factory Sale Store situated in Adıyaman to be disseminated to the people who need them.
Merinos has also donated 3 million TL to the National Solidarity Campaign initiated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in the recent weeks.
Eyyüp Mehmet Emre, Besni Mayor, who extended his thanks to Ali Erdemoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Merinos Halı A.Ş., said, “Ali Erdemoğlu, our philanthropist fellow townsman who has always been with us in any issue anytime, has donated totally 40 thousand masks to our Besni to safeguard public health. The Covid-19 pandemic is a situation faced by the modern world for the first time. Nevertheless, the biggest justification we have at hand is our spirit of solidarity. We will get over this process all together by acting shoulder to shoulder. We believe entirely that we will reach healthy and bright days by providing our best support with all our strength and determination. I am extending my thanks on behalf of myself, our municipality, and Besni to Philanthropist Ali Erdemoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of the Erdemoğlu Holding and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Merinos Halı A.Ş., and our philanthropist fellow townsman who has not forgotten us and supported us with his thoughtful attitude.
